The First RIM Of 2018!

Hey Jammers! Graciepopstar91 here, filling in for Coolcat! Unfortunately, Coolcat has a cold this week, and last night was running a fever. Praying for you!

Anywho, if you know me well enough, you'll know I'm a big fan of all things Passion. We bought the online experience for the conference, and the audio went out. Currently they're trying to fix it, so they're on a break. Who knows when they'll be back. O.O It's very annoying. -.- So since they're running behind, I decided I'd start on the post instead of doing it after the conference session.
*Edit
They're putting session 1 on demand, so there's not gonna be one until tomorrow morning. o.o

Let's get to this weeks RIM post!

---

Today's RIM is the Rare New Year's Party Hat, that's being for sale for 1,000 gems, on the 5th page in Jam Mart Clothing! I honestly think this is probably one of the best RIM'S AJHQ has ever done! I think it's super neat they released a never before seen party hat. It's perfect for New Year's Day!

Here's a little outfit I made with it!

Not the best, but. XD

Here's todays Bible verse!

Hebrews 13:8

Yes, that is Rare Item Monday spelt backwards. (: I wasn't sure what to do as a title, and Custard said that I should spell Rare Item Monday. Thank you, Custard! XD

Hellooooo Jammers! Graciepopstar91 here, covering for Coolcat! Unfortunately, Coolcat's cat went missing recently, and her and her family have been trying to find her cat. Praying you guys can find her, Coolcat! 🙏

Today's RIM is,

---

The Rare Jamaaliday Sweater!

It's located on the 8th page in Jam Mart clothing, is for sale for 1,250 gems, and the color scheme is green, blue, red, and white!

On a scale of 1/10, I think I would give this RIM a 5. It's not my favorite to be honest.

I did try and make an outfit out of it though,

I feel like the colors are all over the place in my outfit. XD

What do you think of todays RIM? Be sure to comment down below your thoughts!

25 Days Of Blogmas! What Are Your Christmas Traditions?: Day 8

Hey, Jammer's! CoolCat here with another post! Welcome to day eight of Blogmas! Before I continue, I want to thank my friend Gracie for posting yesterday for me! I went to the movies to see Titanic on the big screen!  If you have read my blog before, you will know that Titanic is one of my favorite movies ever! I planned on posting before I wen,t but I didn't have time. All I have to say is stay tuned for tomorrows post.. ;)

But for todays post I thought it would be fun if you commented your families Christmas traditions! What does your family do on Christmas and Christmas Eve? I'll share my families traditions first.

On Christmas Eve we start preparing our Christmas meal for the next day.

(Comment below if you want to know what's on the menu for our Christmas dinner, I would gladly do a post on it for Blogmas!)

Then after we do that, we usually get ready for church. Our churches Christmas eve service used to be at 11:00 pm but now our church has a new pastor and the service starts at 6:00 pm. If we don't have to make any last minute store trips, we usually just relax then go to church.

But since this years service is going to start earlier, we will probably do some prepping before church and finish the rest after. When church started at 11:00 pm we would just come home and get ready for bed. This year after we come home from church and after we finish prepping, we will probably either watch a few Christmas movies, or walk around our neighborhood and look at the Christmas lights. Then lastly we bake cookies and I put on Christmas PJS! I never really wear pajamas except for Christmas.

Now lets start with Christmas!

For Christmas I don't usually wake up at the crack of dawn like most. We usually just sleep until 8:00 am. Then instead of opening gifts I start cooking right away while watching a Christmas parade on TV. My mom and nana do most of the cooking on Thanksgiving, but for Christmas I do most of the cooking. I love to cook, especially for Christmas and Easter!

I like to cook before I open my gifts because after I open them, I won't want to cook! So after everything is done we usually eat. I am cooking a new recipe this year and I don't know how long it will take. My guess is that I'll be done cooking at about 12:30 pm.

Then my family opens their gifts first. I like to go last so I can take my time opening everything, while listening to Christmas music. Again I can't give a correct time frame, but my best guess is that it is about 2:30 when I get to my gift opening.

I usually take my time opening gifts and listen to music and just enjoy the moment, Christmas only comes once a year after all!

So for the rest of the day I usually am busy with my gifts depending on what I get. Then we watch Christmas movies while drinking hot chocolate.

I hope you enjoyed hearing what my family and I do for Christmas Eve and Christmas day! I want to hear what you and your family do! Make sure you comment down below!

Here is todays verse.

"...that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." -Philippians 2:10-11

25 Days Of Blogmas! Jesus Is The Reason For The Season: Day 7

Helloooo, everyone! Graciepopstar91 here!

Today I'm filling in for Coolcat, since tonight her and her mom went out to see a movie, and she didn't have time to post earlier. Hope you enjoy the movie, Coolcat! ^.^

Welcome to day 7 of 25 Days Of Blogmas! Today I decided that I'd cover something that seems to be more and more less recognized about Christmas.

Lots of people in America this month are talking about santa, and parents bring their kids to see him. And of course, on Christmas Eve kids want to stay up and see santa. Santa always gets brought in the spotlight on Christmas.

But, truly, Christmas is all about Jesus. He's the reason we even have this holiday!

So instead of this month talking all about santa, what if we talked about Jesus? Instead of parents bringing their kids to santa, what if parents tried leading their kids to Jesus? Instead of bringing santa in the spotlight on Christmas, what if we brought Jesus back into the spotlight on Christmas?

Really, I think all this santa stuff is really idolizing him. There's framed pictures of santa, santa ornaments, etc.. And him having 'magical powers' or whatever is super strange.

Exodus 20:3, one of the Ten Commandments, says this,

“You shall have no other gods before me.["]

So, if we are idolizing santa, that really is putting something before God. Christmas is really a time to remember Jesus' birth, and all he's done for us, and not focusing all on santa, and all of the other things people have made Christmas into.

---

I hope you all have a wonderful week, and a great holiday season!

Here's todays Bible verse!

Psalm 37:24

Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand.

25 Days Of Blogmas! Movie Night In: Day 6

Hey, Jammer's! CoolCat here with another post! Welcome to day six of Blogmas! I just got finished watching a Christmas movie, and thought that would be a great blog topic for todays post! I will be naming a few of my favorite Christmas movies. I don't remember if I did this last year or not, but if I did it can't hurt to do it again!

#1 The Polar Express
This is probably my favorite Christmas movie ever! Its such a classic that it doesn't feel like Christmas unless I watch it! This was actually the movie I just got done watching before I started this post!

#2 The Santa Clause (series)
This is another one of my favorites! This is another classic that I have to watch every year! There are three movies to this series, and I believe they are making a fourth one as we speak! I know if it comes out by next Christmas, it will definitely makes its way on this list!

#3 Home Alone
This is a Christmas movie and a comedy mixed into one! I laugh my head off each year like its the first time I have seen it! Can't go wrong with another classic like this one!

#4 Mickey's Once Upon A Christmas
This is a cute short Disney Christmas movie I loved to watch as a kid! I have not watched it in a few years because I can't seem to find it on T.V. If I can find it this year I will definitely watch it!

#5 How The Grinch Stole Christmas
There are so many versions of this movie, but I feel that all of them are great! This is another one I also watch in December.

Now that I have named my top five favorite Christmas movies, I want to know what yours are! Comment down below your top five favorite Christmas movies!

Here is todays verse.

"....but [Jesus] made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death - even death on a cross!" - Philippians 2:7-8

25 Days Of Blogmas! Don't Forget About Your Pets: Day 5

Hey, Jammer's! CoolCat here with another post! Welcome to day five of Blogmas! For todays post I will be sharing some gift ideas for your pets! I thought this would be a silly post to do. I don't know how many of you will try this, or even have pets, but this should be fun either way!  I will be naming gift ideas for cats and dogs. I will not be doing any other animal since I have no idea what I would even list for any other animal LOL.

Cats:

Canned tuna (in water)

Cat treats

Toys (little ball with bell)

Cat tower

Kitty clothing (if your cat(s) will allow, mine would kill me if I tried LOL)

That's all I can think of for cats. I have four of them and these are some things I know my cats would enjoy! They already have their own cat tower but I thought I would list that as an idea anyways. Now lets start on the gift ideas for dogs!

Dogs:

Dog treats

Toys (ball)

New dog bed

PetSmart gift card (that you would use for your dog)

I have one dog and these are some things he would definitely enjoy! He would for sure enjoy the dog treats. I don't know if he would actually use the dog bed, since he sleeps in either my bed or my moms bed! One of my cats would probably take over his dog bed. My dog really isn't into toys but I listed it anyways, because I'm sure most other dogs are.

I don't really expect anyone to actually do this, this post is just for fun! I hear and see other people say every year how they wrap something for their dog or cat and set it under the tree. If you do decide to do this, comment down below! Also comment down below if you have any other ideas that I didn't list!

Here is todays verse.

"Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped..." -Philippians 2:5-6

25 Days Of Blogmas! National Cookie Day: Day 4

Hey, Jammer's! CoolCat here with another post! Welcome to day four of Blogmas! This morning I seen that today was notional cookie day, so I thought that would be perfect for todays post!

For todays post I will be naming six classic Christmas cookies and I will rate them from my favorite to least favorite! Make sure you comment down below your ranking of favorite to least favorite!

Before I start ranking them, I am going to list them here.

#1 Gingerbread
#2 Peanut Butter
#3 Sugar Cookie
#4 Oatmeal Chocolate Chip
#5 Chocolate Chip
#6 Snickerdoodle Cookie

Now is how I rank them, from my least favorite to favorite.

#6 Gingerbread:
I have not had this cookie in many, many years. But when I did have it when I was younger I did not like it. Maybe if I tried it now I would like it.

#5 Oatmeal Chocolate Chip:
My mom and I made oatmeal chocolate chip cookies about a month ago and I didn't like them very much.

#4 Sugar Cookie:
I actually really like sugar cookies! The only reason it isn't higher on my list is because I like some of the other cookies a little bit more.

#3 Snickerdoodle Cookie:
If I had to choose between sugar cookies and snickerdoodle cookies, I would definitely have to choose snickerdoodles! They are just so tasty.

#2 Chocolate Chip:
I know some of you are probably thinking, how can chocolate chip come second! That's a classic Christmas cookie! I still absolutely love chocolate chip cookies, but...

#1 Peanut Butter:
Peanut butter cookies top the list for me! I am a sucker for a peanut butter chocolate combo. Put a Hershey kiss on top of a peanut butter cookie and I am sold.

I hope you enjoyed todays post! Is your favorite cookie on my list? If it is or isn't, comment down below what your favorite classic Christmas cookie is! Here is todays verse.

"I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile." -Romans 1:16

25 Days Of Blogmas! My Faves From Candle Day: Day 3

Hey, Jammer's! CoolCat here with another post! Welcome to day three of 25 days of Blogmas! For todays post I thought I would share some of my favorite finds from candle day! I also thought I would share some of my least favorite finds.

Favorite finds:

#1 Pink Petal Tea Cake

This was probably one of the most popular candles on candle day yesterday, which is why I waited in line before the sun came up with about 50 other people just to get in the store! I had never smelt it before, but I had heard wonderful  things about it. This candle came out sometime in 2014 and hasn't been back since. This was before I started buying candles so I missed out on it then, but because it was so popular Bath And Body Works brought it back for the sale!

The scent notes on this candle are rose petals, fluffy cake, and orange essential oils. It is a soft wonderful unique scent! When I first smelled it I could see why its a favorite! It fills up my bedroom not long after burning it. The fluffy cake is not as prominent as the rose petals and orange essential oils.

 Warm Cup Of Cocoa:

This candle smells very similar to  the hot cocoa and cream candle, but I can tell it is different.  The scent notes of warm cup of cocoa are milk chocolate, steamed milk, and nutmeg essential oil. The warm cup of cocoa candle has more of a Christmas spice to it, while hot cocoa and cream has more of a creamy marshmallow smell to it.  The scent notes to hot cocoa and cream are decadent milk chocolate, fresh steamed milk, and mini marshmallows.  Both are great candles and you couldn't go wrong with either one of them!

Merry Cookie:

This was also a very popular candle yesterday. I had it on my list to get but I didn't even think my store would have it. It was super limited during the sale. I was the fifth person in line before my store opened and Merry Cookie was one of the first things I grabbed. There were only about 10 of them when I got mine, and only 2 were left by the time I was finished at checkout.

This is probably my favorite Christmas scent I picked out during the sale! The scent notes of this candle are  fresh baked cookies, sparkling sugar crystals, and rich vanilla. It smells just like a freshly baked sugar cookie!  I plan on burning this scent on Christmas eve.

Frosted Cranberry:

This candle smells so good! The scent notes on this candle are iced cranberries and orange essential oils.  This wasn't as popular as pink petal tea cake and merry cookie, but it was still pretty popular! At checkout I seen a woman hand a cashier about four or five of them! I will admit that while I did get one, I was a bit hesitant to do so. But once I got home and burned it I loved it! It is a nice strong scent without being overpowering.

Now that I shared some of my favorite finds, I will be sharing a few of my not so favorite finds...

Not so great finds:

Girl Gang (Pink Bubble Gum):

Like pink petal tea cake, pink bubble gum came out sometime in 2014 and hasn't been back for sale since. This was another candle that had people standing in line to make sure they got  ahold of it, myself included!

Because it was so popular it came back for this years candle sale. I had it on my list even though I had never smelled it. I was sure I was going to like it, but once I smelled it I didn't like it at all. It had an overly sweet generic bubble gum smell to it. It was a pass for me.

Merry Mimosa:

This wasn't a popular candle like the others I have mentioned, but still fairly popular! I was smelling so many candles that when I smelled this one I couldn't really smell it, but put it in my basket anyways because the store was getting more crowded and I was trying to get outta there!

By the time I got home and smelled it again, I couldn't believe what I was smelling. It was so strong my throat started to burn right after smelling it. It was a good smelling candle, but it was way too strong for me. I ended up exchanging this one later that evening for another pink petal tea cake candle.

Cinnamon Rum Raisin:

I actually picked up this one while I was returning merry mimosa. Its in the same collection as the pink petal tea cake and warm cup of cocoa.  On a cold sniff it smells AMAZING! It smells like a cinnamon raisin donut, or cinnamon raisin toast.  But when I got home and burned it, it had absolutely no throw at all. I was so disappointed! I will be exchanging this candle soon.

Now I am going to name a few honorable mentions!

Tokyo Petals:

This is a very pretty smelling scent! It would be perfect to burn during the spring.

Grapefruit Gin Fizz:

This smell just like a fizzy soda! It has a fruity fizzy smell which I loved!

I hope you enjoyed todays post! Hopefully this will be helpful to someone looking for some great Christmas candles! All of the candles I mentioned were not Christmas candles, but most were! Comment down below what candle I mentioned sounds the best!

25 Days Of Blogmas! Bath And Body Works Candle Sale: Day 2

Hey, Jammer's! CoolCat here with another post! Welcome to day two of this months 25 days of Blogmas! Todays post will be kind of Christmas related. I don't know how many of my viewers are into candles, but if you are one of them keep on reading!

Today Bath And Body Works had a sale on all of their three wick candles! The original price of these candles range from $22.50 to $26.50, and the sale price was $8.95 each! If you are subscribed to their E-mail mailing list, they will also send you coupons you can use on sales like this one! Also once you start shopping in the store, they will send you coupons in the mail.

Since I am posting this later in the evening some stores might be already closed, but you can always use this information as a reference for next year.  If your store isn't closed yet, maybe you can make a quick stop to check out the sale before they do close. Just remember every year the prices of the candles can vary and the coupons Bath And Body Works send out can vary.

The coupons that were sent in the mail before the candle sale started were $10 off of $30 and $15 off of $40. If you do the math, you can use your $10 off of $30 coupon and get four candles for $28.31 with tax. If you use your $15 off of $40 coupon you can get five candles for $32.88 with tax! That is an incredible deal considering the cheapest three wick candle is$ 22.50 each!

Here are some do's and don'ts when it comes to candle day:

DO:
Call your store the day before to see what time they open! Most stores open early for candle day.

DO:
Have your coupons ready! Plan out the night before how you can use them to your advantage.

DO:
Get there at least 45 minutes before your store opens to be first in line!

DO:
Go to your store of choice the night before and smell all the candles you have in mind to get. On the day of the sale you don't want to waste time smelling candles. Also pay attention to where your favorite candles are placed in the store. Knowing where they are before the sale starts will help you grab your candles quickly.

DON'T:
Go without a plan! Have a plan of what candles you want so you can get in and out as fast as possible.

DON'T:
Forget to grab a basket in the entrance of the store! Trust me, you'll need it.

DON'T:
Wait around for very long after you get your candles to avoid a line at check out.

DON'T:
Stress about it! Candle day is a fun experience you will never forget, and will most likely want to do again next year!

DON'T
Forget that there is a limit of 15 candles per person!

I hope you found these tips helpful! This year was my first time going to candle day, and these tips worked best for me. Comment down below if you want me to name a few of my favorite candles that I got during the sale, and if you want me to do a review on them!

That's all for today Jammer's! I hope you enjoyed todays post! Here is todays verse.

"She [Mary] will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins." -Matthew 1:21

25 Days Of Blogmas! The Intro: Day 1

Hey, Jammer's! Coolcat here with another post! If you read my blog last December, you would know that last year I did 25 days of blogmas! I didn't know if I was going to do it this year, as I have been busier. But I decided that I should do it! I had so much fun doing it last year, I can't miss out on doing it again this year! Todays post is very last minute, which is why it is so late. Since todays post is kind of last minute, todays post will just consist of me explaining what you will see this month.

You can expect to see Christmas themed posts almost everyday until Christmas!  Some days I may have posts not related to Christmas, but I will try and keep it Christmas themed for the most part.

I will not be doing Rare Item Monday posts this month on this blog. I will pick back up doing Rare Item Monday posts after Christmas. You can continue to keep up on my Rare Item Monday posts on the two other blogs I post for. :)

I may also post some Christmas recipes! I think I posted one or two last year, but I can't remember which ones I posted. I want to make sure I don't post the same ones twice!

That's all for today, Jammer's. Comment down below if you are looking forward to 25 days of blogmas! I know I sure am!

As always, bye Jammer's! And ~Jam On!~
