25 Days Of Blogmas Day 20 / New Years Eve Tradition!

Hey, Jammer's! CoolCat here with another post! And I'm back with day 20 of 25 Days Of Blogmas! There are only five more days left until Christmas! And that also means only five more days left of Blogmas! I am quite sad it will be over so soon. I have had a blast with Blogmas! It has been quite hard at times to find ideas, but they always seem to work out in the end! But anyways, lets get on with todays post!

Todays post will kind of be like todays post, since it will be food related. But to start, every New Years Eve my nana and I cook a meal that might be strange to some of you. But I will be talking about it today!

I don't know its formal name, but it is basically sour kraut, pork, and water. At least at first. My nana and I first start off by dicing up pork chops into large cubes. Then we place it in the a baking dish. Then we pour in our fresh (not canned!) sour kraut on top. then you add in some water, season with some black pepper, and that's it! And you just cook it slow all day long. When its about done you add in some hotdogs and let them cook. And we usually have mashed potatoes to go with our sour kraut. And that's it!

My nana has been cooking this long before I can remember, and I always hated it! I didn't like it until I was about 12. I remember picking out the pork chops and the hotdogs and rinsing them before I ate them.  But now I love it and look forward to it every year!

I hope you enjoyed todays post! Comment down below if you have any New Years Eve traditions!

As always. Bye, Jammer's! And ~Jam On!~
